Sokos hotelli Torni, set to open on 15 october 2014. is a combination of pioneering architecture and historical milleu. Hotel height is 88.5 metres and there 25 layers.

Services

The old engine shed houses a total of ten conference rooms on the second floor, covering a total area of 1,250 m2 and providing seats for 1,600 customers. The facilities can be combined and modified as necessary. There are also an additional three conference rooms in the hotel proper. We welcome you to hold meetings in these unique premises!

Meetings and negotiations

The meeting facilities in the engine shed were designed with both small and big meetings in mind. The premises are easy to modify according to the nature of your meeting. Modern facilities and technology and an experienced personnel ensure the smooth realisation of each meeting.

Conferences

All of the meeting facilities on the first floor can be combined into a single space for the purposes of larger conferences. In its theatre form, the first floor can host up to approximately 1,000 people. Cutting-edge meeting and conference technology and the innovative way it has been carried out will help you to organise a memorable event.

Celebrations and festivities

Cocktail events for up to 1,000 people can be organised by combining all the meeting and conference facilities on the first floor into a single space. Dinners in this space can seat up to 500 people. The unique and historic setting, the legendary spirit of Tampere and our professional and friendly staff ensure that your event will be a memorable occasion, right down to the smallest detail.

Activities

The gym located on the ground floor. Hotel guests are free to use our gym and the adjoining sauna from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00

Rooms

The elegantly furnished Solo rooms offer a new style of furnishings and materials for your enjoyment. The beds are impressive: we have indeed come a long way in the hotel from the straw mattresses found in the Amuri Museum of Workers’ Housing to the high-quality mattresses found in the Solo beds. Made from material based on NASA designs, they mould themselves to the contours of your body. In the bathrooms, you can see the latest trends in interior design.
